1. Personal Information

We may collect relevant and necessary personal and/or non-personal information from users in a variety of ways in connection with activities, services, features or resources we make available on our Site.

We record non-personal information such as Cookies and Log Data for statistical purposes.

Personal information is only collected when submitted by the user, such as when you desire to contact us and knowingly disclose your name and email address.

1a. Personal data

Our website addresses a general audience, and Qtechnology does not intentionally collect personal data about any person below the age of 18 years or other personal information than the above.

We process personal data for the following purposes:

  • Provision of Qtechnology products and services and to answer your questions, requests, and inquiries
  • Provision of newsletters from Qtechnology
  • The purposes listed in the cookie section below

As an international organisation, Qtechnology may transfer personal data collected by us on an aggregated or individual level to various partners, dealers, divisions, subsidiaries, joint ventures and affiliated companies of Newtec Holding A/S (“Newtec Group“) worldwide, located inside or outside the European Economic Area for the purposes stated above, as well as to data processors outside of Qtechnology in e.g. China or other countries abroad for storage and service purposes. Personal data will not be disclosed to anyone outside the Newtec Group without your accept unless authorised or required under applicable legislation.

When your personal data is no longer required for the purposes for which it was collected and subsequently processed, it will either be deleted or anonymised.

If you have submitted personal data to us, e.g. when subscribing to our newsletter, you have certain rights to access and amend the data. This, however, is subject to certain legal limitations.

To protect your personal data, we have implemented appropriate organisational and technical security measures by storing personal data on servers with limited access. Among other measures, the servers, located in secured facilities, are protected by anti-virus software and firewalls. Our security measures are continuously being evaluated.

Non-personal information: We use Cookies and Log Data to identify which pages are being used. This helps us analyse data about webpage traffic and improve our website in order to tailor it to our customer’s needs. We only use this information for statistical analysis purposes and then the data is removed from the system.

Personal Information: We only have access to/collect information that you voluntarily give us via email or other direct contacts from you. We will not sell, trade or rent this information to anyone. We will use your information to respond to you, regarding the reason you contacted us.
